The film gained much attention from the public prior to its release and is elected as the most awaited film of the year by a poll conducted by Behindwoods. Behindwood's expectation meter shows 90 % value which is the Second highest for a movie till now after Enthiran which had 95%.This proves that Thalapathy is next to only Thalaivar Rajini.
Thuppakki is directed by A R Murugadoss and ace cinematographer Santosh Sivan ASC.ISC handles the camera department. Music for this movie is composed by Harris Jayaraj and the audio was a MEGA HIT , especially Google Google Song sung by Ilayathalapathy Vijay. It charts in top 1 position in many of the song rankings.Vijay's worldwide fans are looking forward to the movie that it is confirmed as a BLOCKBUSTER before its release iteself.
