Ilayathalapathy fans...!! Vijay's much awaited flick " Velayudham "
will be releasing on Oct 26 - 2011 as a real diwali treat for all. It is sure
that there will be a tight competition with Shah Rukh's 'Ra.One' and Surya's
'7am Arivu' on this diwali. But Velayudham team is trying their best to get
more theatres as possible. There will about 1200 prints of the movie with
350-400 worldwide releases. 38 releasing centres are there in Chennai.
'Velayudham' is a mass entertainer
with the South India's mass hero Ilayathalapathy Vijay in the title role. It is
a superhero film with Genelia D'Souza and Hansika Motwani playing the lead
roles. Saranya Mohan will be in a role of Vijay's sister and Santhanam will
handle the comedies. Hit director M.Raja ( Jayam Raja) is the director of this
action thriller which is produced by the renowned V.Ravichandran for Aascar
films (P)Ltd. South India's one of the leading distributors Ayngaran Movie
International will distribute the prints. The rocking music is composed by
Vijay Antony who had worked earlier with Vijay for Vettaikkaran. Priyan's
Cinematography and Stun Siva's fight sequences along with Tom Dalmer (Stunt
director of Hollywood movies like 'Starwars') will be one of the highlights of
the movie.
Vijay Antony's rocking music has
been recorded as blockbuster hits and Velayudham audio CD's were sold for a
record -- 3 lakh CD's within one hour of the audio launch which is the South
India's ever record collection for an audio album. Velayudham Trailer has also
created some records with 3.2 lakh viewers in You Tube within 10 days of
trailer launch and has acquired world #1 position for most searched and viewed
video in one day ( trailer launch day ).
